Hey, I'm Blaise Foret. I've been married for 12 years, I'm a dad of three, and I'm a business owner. For the last 10 years, I've helped families think through important life insurance decisions because I've seen firsthand how the right protection can give families clarity, confidence, and peace of mind.
I know this conversation is easy to put off. Most people do not wake up excited to think about life insurance. But when people depend on you, this decision matters.
My job is to help you slow down, understand your options, and make an informed decision for the people you love.
You've probably heard people say things like, “Only buy this type of life insurance,” or “Never buy that type of life insurance.” But the reality is, life insurance is not always a one-size-fits-all conversation.
That's why education matters.
Before you make a decision, you need someone who can help you understand the differences, ask the right questions, and shop independently for options that may fit your family, your goals, your health, and your budget. That's what I'm here to do... starting with this training.
Most families are more financially vulnerable than they realize. It's not because they're careless — it's because most people put off this conversation until it feels too late or too overwhelming. Many delay life insurance because they feel healthy, busy, overwhelmed, or unsure how much coverage they need. But when a spouse, children, mortgage, business, or family depends on your income, protection becomes one of those decisions that's too important to keep pushing off.
If your family lost your income tomorrow, they'd face real, immediate questions:
A properly designed life insurance plan can help create breathing room — time to grieve, heal, and make decisions without being forced into financial survival mode.
Replace lost earnings so your family can maintain their lifestyle.
Keep a roof over their heads.
Cover funeral, burial, and immediate costs.
Address bills left behind from illness or injury.
Pay off credit cards, car loans, and personal loans.
Help cover nanny, daycare, or family care while your spouse grieves.
Keep basic living expenses covered.
Preserve college savings for your children.
Give your spouse breathing room without financial pressure.
Protect business partners or payroll.
Leave a gift to your children or grandchildren.
Support causes your family believes in.
Someone means to get coverage.
They think about it.
They save the link.
They tell their spouse, “We need to take care of this.”
Then life gets busy.
Months pass.
And sometimes, by the time the conversation becomes urgent, health has changed, options are fewer, or the cost is no longer what it would have been before.
That's why I built this training — not to pressure you, but to help you understand your options while you still have options.
Different types of life insurance serve different purposes. The goal isn't to declare one type universally better than another — it's to help you understand which tool may fit your needs, goals, budget, age, health, and time horizon.
Designed to provide a larger amount of protection for a specific period of time. Term can be a strong fit for income replacement, mortgage protection, protecting children during their dependent years, and other financial needs that may decrease over time — often structured around 10-, 20-, or 30-year time horizons.
Designed for permanent protection that can remain in place for life, subject to policy terms and required premiums. Whole life is often used for final expenses, funeral and burial costs, smaller lifelong protection needs, and leaving a financial gift or legacy to loved ones.
A flexible form of permanent life insurance designed for long-term protection. Depending on the policy, universal life may also offer cash-value accumulation potential and different interest-crediting options, including indexed strategies. Because these policies are more complex, proper design, funding, and ongoing review are important.
Depending on the policy, life insurance may offer more than a death benefit. Certain plans can include features such as living benefits and cash-value accumulation. I'll explain how these work, where they may fit, and what to watch for inside the training.
